Jimmy Childre, Sr. entered the automobile business back in 1952 and learned that customer service earned the business of his friends and community. He opened his first dealership, Childre Chevrolet Pontiac GMC Buick in 1964 in Sandersville, GA . Today, that same dealership continues to be a thriving business and is operated and managed by his son, Bob Childre. It was Mr. Jimmy Childre's idea, of customers always come first, that has helped the family's business expand throughout Middle Georgia. The Chrysler Dodge Jeep Nissan dealership was built and opened in Milledgeville, Georgia. Jason Childre, the youngest son of Jimmy Chilre, Sr., is proud to be the dealership's General Manager and continues to follow the example that his father has set.
